Altum Cent: read USC balances and contract sizes correctly
Convert Altum Cent balances into dollars, compare forex and metal contract sizes, and spot the minimum-deposit and entity differences in official documents.
Convert USC before comparing balances
Altum's Cent page defines 100 USC as USD 1 and describes converting dollars into cents on deposit and back on withdrawal. A hypothetical balance of 5,000 USC therefore represents USD 50, not USD 5,000. The larger displayed number changes the unit of account; it does not multiply purchasing power.

Diagram explained
Check the exact service and evidence scope
- 5,000 USC represents USD 50
- Read the .c symbol specification
- Check minimum and legal entity
Forex and metals need separate contract checks
The Cent page states a forex cent lot contains 1,000 base units versus 100,000 for a standard lot. A hypothetical 0.10 lot is therefore 100 versus 10,000 base units under those specifications. For gold and silver it instead states 1 ounce per cent lot versus 100 ounces per standard lot. Use the actual .c symbol specification, such as EURUSD.c or XAUUSD.c; a forex calculation cannot simply be pasted onto a metal.

The two public minimums do not agree
The dedicated Cent page advertises a USD 10 starting amount, while the accounts overview lists USD 5 for Cent. These are inconsistent public entry figures, not proof that every payment method accepts either amount. Confirm the account and deposit route in the client area before transferring money; the minimum needed to fund an account is also a different question from a withdrawal minimum.

Match the agreement to the account
The Cent marketing material refers to a Seychelles entity, while the account-opening PDF actually opened for this review names Altum Global Ltd in Saint Lucia, registration 2026-00292. These sources must not be merged into a universal Seychelles protection claim. Save the agreement actually assigned during onboarding and verify its company name, governing law and dispute route before applying any website statement to your account.
