BrightFunded daily loss: fixed amount and rollover equity
For the newer CFD cohort, the daily allowance is a fixed percentage of original size, deducted from the higher rollover balance or equity. This article uses 2-Step Bright’s 4%; older purchases have a separate method. Vietnam is restricted.
Check the purchase timestamp
The revised method applies to accounts purchased after 22 September 2025 at 11 AM CET. A later visual refresh of an article does not move an old account into this cohort. Retain the invoice and method shown in the account dashboard.

Diagram explained
Fixed allowance; moving daily reference
- Original $100,000 × 4% = $4,000
- Higher rollover value: $105,000
- Daily floor: $101,000
The percentage base stays fixed
On an independent hypothetical Bright $100,000 account, 4% of original size is $4,000. If rollover balance is $102,000 and equity $105,000, use $105,000 minus $4,000: a $101,000 daily floor. Do not recalculate 4% of $105,000.

Floating gains can raise the reference
An equity-based reference can carry a higher daily floor into the next session even before the floating gain is closed. Monitor open exposure through the provider’s 23:30–23:59 CET reset window. Keep the provider’s named timezone rather than silently converting CET into CEST.

Two loss tests remain
The daily floor and Bright’s static 8% overall limit operate together. On the hypothetical original size, the overall floor is $92,000, but a higher daily floor can bind first. This arithmetic explains rules, not a safe trade size or permission to approach either threshold.
