What matters this week

VT Markets published a 19 October notice about changes to some MT4/MT5 product hours as EU/UK daylight saving ends. We checked the Asia-facing notice on 26 October. This is a service update worth reviewing before running timed orders or an EA; it is not a new promotion announced today.

Keep three clocks separate: the broker server, the product’s trading session and your local clock. A server-time change does not establish a uniform one-hour change for every instrument. Vietnam uses UTC+7; verify each symbol’s actual session instead of moving every alert together.

26–31 Oct: verify symbol sessions; 7 Nov: Exness index rollout planned; 1 Nov: Vantage sessions use GMT+2. Check the current notice and account conditions

Vantage: new sessions from 1 November, GMT+2

Vantage’s notice, published 26 October and effective 1 November 2026, lists symbol-specific sessions. GER40 trades 02:15–24:00 GMT+2 Monday–Thursday; Friday closes at 23:00. This is the international-site schedule: match it to your symbol and account.

FINEX conversion: Vietnam is five hours ahead of GMT+2. That GER40 Monday–Thursday session therefore runs from 07:15 to 05:00 the next morning in Vietnam. Recheck platform sessions before using an EA or timed alerts; do not apply these hours to every product.

Exness: planned index-margin change on 7 November

Exness’s document updated 22 October lists 7 November as the planned switch to dynamic margin for index CFDs including US30, US500, USTEC and JP225, including existing positions. Check the provisional schedule.

Margin may rise or fall with account leverage; entity limits and HMR still apply. Check the symbol, contracting entity and free margin.

Before using timed orders or an EA

Open Market Watch, inspect the exact symbol and read Specification or the platform’s session information. Check its suffix, server clock, session breaks and the next trading day. Compare an existing timer with the new schedule, especially around opening, closing and rollover. The VT notice explicitly directs users to MT4/MT5 for specific data.

If your EA uses server time, confirm its documented time-zone setting and test the schedule on a demo before using it live. Recheck order expiry as well. This does not prove the EA or a particular broker is safe; it helps avoid a timing mismatch caused by a calendar change.

XM: a published bonus is not a universal cash offer

XM’s bonus page checked today describes additional trading margin. It states that bonus availability and percentages vary by region and that the bonus itself cannot be withdrawn. We are not treating an illustrated percentage on that page as a confirmed Vietnam offer, or claiming that this policy began on 26 October.

Before funding for a promotion, read the terms actually shown in your account: the entity, eligible account, credit removal on withdrawal and expiry. Keep your planned trade size based on risk limits rather than enlarging it because credit is available. A referral registration does not confirm eligibility.

Exness: distinguish a broker bonus from an IB rebate

The Exness Help Center checked today still says it does not provide welcome, deposit or trading bonuses. The same page separately explains that IB partners can share part of their rewards through rebates. It is dated 4 September 2026, so this is a current-policy recheck rather than a newly introduced benefit.

Ask who pays any proposed rebate, how it is calculated and when it is credited. Do not interpret a headline about a deposit bonus as official Exness approval. FINEX’s account links below are for exploring account options; they do not guarantee a reward, successful registration or commission.
