E8 One: closed-profit and daily loss floors
Calculate the two floors independently and avoid importing a configurable preset into every E8 One account.
Use your configuration first
E8 One is configurable. The product page and help article display different presets, so record the selected dynamic amount and daily amount before calculating. A $100K, 6% dynamic and 4% daily configuration is the example here, not a universal rule.

Diagram explained
Respect both loss levels and the post-payout gap
- $100K example: dynamic distance $6K
- Closed balance $103K → dynamic floor $97K
- Day starts $103K → daily floor $99K
Closed profit moves the dynamic floor
Hypothetically close enough profit to raise balance from $100,000 to $103,000. With a $6,000 dynamic distance, the floor becomes $97,000. An unrealized high alone does not move that floor. The rule eventually locks after the specified closed-profit milestone.

The new-day floor uses another reference
If the next day starts at $103,000 and the fixed daily amount is $4,000, its daily loss level is $99,000. In this hypothetical case the daily level is tighter than the $97,000 dynamic level; staying above only one is insufficient.

A payout does not reset the floor
E8’s payout article says the dynamic loss level remains after a withdrawal deduction. Calculate the remaining gap after the requested amount as well as the two current loss levels; an account can have profits but insufficient room after an aggressive request.
