Diagram explained

Combine simultaneous symbol exposure

  1. 3% of reference balance
  2. Combine same-symbol tickets
  3. Hard breach is stage-wide

Simultaneous tickets are grouped

Multiple simultaneous trades in that instrument count as one for this rule. Separate ticket numbers therefore do not create separate three-percent budgets.

Use a hypothetical combined loss

If the reference balance is hypothetically USD 50,000, 3% is USD 1,500. Related simultaneous losses of USD 900 and USD 700 total USD 1,600, beyond that illustrated amount.

A symbol breach can precede daily breach

The article calls symbol loss a hard breach in evaluations and funded stage. Passing a broader daily account test does not excuse exceeding this narrower instrument limit.
