Moneta Funded daily loss: higher snapshot value
Apply Moneta Funded's higher-of-balance-or-equity snapshot formula with a hypothetical allowance, and distinguish the 22:00 UTC reset from a generic midnight rule.
Read the higher value first
Clause 5.1A uses the higher of balance or equity at the daily snapshot, then subtracts the daily loss amount. It is not always a balance-only formula.

Diagram explained
Check the recorded terms before acting
- Max(snapshot balance, equity)
- Subtract initial-balance allowance
- Snapshot: 22:00 UTC
Keep the percentage base separate
The loss amount applies the account's daily-loss parameter to its initial balance. The higher snapshot value is the reference level, not automatically the base for that percentage.
Work a fully hypothetical example
Assume initial USD 50,000, balance USD 51,000, equity USD 52,000 and a hypothetical 3% allowance. USD 1,500 is subtracted from USD 52,000, producing a USD 50,500 breach level.
Use the specified UTC snapshot
The terms define the snapshot at 22:00 UTC. Record the account's actual parameter and both snapshot values; this illustration is not a universal 3% Moneta product claim.
