OANDA BVI inactivity: the USD 20 client-wide cap
Read the twelve-month no-trading condition, sub-account deductions and open-position exception.
The criterion is trading activity
Charges allows a fee after twelve months without trading and exempts open positions. Unlike another broker’s no-login model, this source does not identify login as a reset condition.

Diagram explained
USD 6 + USD 9 supports only USD 15 deduction
- After 12 months without trading in source
- Smallest sub-account debited first
- Up to USD 20/client/month, no negative balance
The cap is per client, not per account
The page starts with the smallest sub-account, then others up to USD 20 per client/month without negative balances. Balances of USD 6 and USD 9 total only USD 15 before conversion, not USD 20 each.

A conditional fee rebate
After resuming trading, the page allows a request for up to three months’ charged fees. This is not a promise to refund every charge; do not place a trade merely to pursue reimbursement.

Closure or withdrawal has separate costs
For discontinuing service, ask about closure/withdrawal and route fees rather than creating artificial volume. Standard wires and tier benefits follow separate pages; a small balance does not remove verification requirements.
