Payment security before a deposit or withdrawal: a practical checklist
Check the destination, account ownership and support channel before sharing data or moving money.

Verify the destination independently
Open the provider’s website from a saved, checked address instead of a message promising a special payment route. Find the funding section from the authenticated account area. Treat a request to transfer to a personal account, disclose a password or install remote-control software as a reason to stop and independently verify the instruction.
A message containing the right logo or your account number does not prove who sent it. Compare the domain character by character. Use the official contact page you opened yourself when checking an unexpected request. Do not send identity documents or payment receipts to an unverified social account.

Diagram explained
Pause when the recipient or instructions do not match.
- Open the official site independently and use its authenticated payment instructions. A message, QR code or familiar logo alone is not verification.
- Match the beneficiary, payment provider and reference. For crypto, also match the asset, network, address and any required memo or tag.
- Save the instructions and receipt. A small test transfer, where appropriate, does not establish that a provider is solvent or that larger withdrawals will succeed.
Use a payment account in the correct name
Exness’ published withdrawal rules require account-name consistency and describe account-specific payment availability. A method used by a friend is not proof that it is enabled for you. Confirm the ownership requirement, currency, limits and any return-to-source rule inside your own account.

Keep a minimal, private audit trail
Record the request reference, amount, currency, date and stated processing time. Keep original records private; redact identity and account details before asking a community for help. If a payment is delayed, distinguish pending provider approval from a transfer already released to a bank. That distinction makes a support request easier to investigate.
