RoboForex ECN: 20/mio and MT4/MT5 fee booking

Decode the USD-million unit with two base-currency examples and separate cost from booking time.

mio means USD one million, not one lot

The Support Center explains 20/mio as USD 20 per USD million of volume. It is the help article’s ECN example, not a verified universal rate for every symbol or Prime. The current Contract Specifications Commission column supplies the instrument-specific input.

Both-sides example: USD 4 at equal inputs

  1. 20/mio = USD 20 per USD million
  2. USD 100,000 → USD 2 per side
  3. MT4 upfront · MT5 each side

USDJPY and EURUSD give different totals

At the example 20/mio rate, a USD 100,000 USDJPY lot costs USD 2 per side, USD 4 both sides. For EUR 100,000 at an assumed EURUSD 1.10, USD volume is 110,000: USD 2.20 per side and USD 4.40 total if both sides use the same conversion and volume.

MT4 and MT5 book fees at different times

The support article says MT4 books opening and closing commission upfront, whereas MT5 books each side separately. A larger opening charge on MT4 does not by itself prove a higher schedule. Reconcile the complete open/close cycle at equal size, currency and rate.

Reconcile the history

Record USD notional for each side, the /mio rate and total history commission, then use matching calculator inputs. Conversion changes, rounding and financing may differ from the example. FINEX has not tested these bookings on a live account.
