What a ten-star broker or prop rating should tell you
Read scoring scope, coverage and evidence instead of treating a star total as a guarantee.
One star represents one point
FINEX uses a ten-point visual scale: seven points fill seven of ten stars. A decimal can partially fill the next star. The display is a communication choice; it does not make the underlying judgement objective or statistically precise. Always read the rubric and the meaning of the score beside the graphic.
FINEX — Published review methodology

Diagram explained
More complete data does not automatically mean better quality.
- A provider statement needs its original source, applicable scope and check date. A link alone does not prove performance.
- An assessment of published terms explains the four criteria and any missing evidence. It is not a record of live trading or payments.
- Independent observations need a method, sample and observation period. Read these limits before comparing scores.
Ask which question was scored
Data completeness, published terms and measured service quality are different dimensions. A site can collect many sources without observing an actual withdrawal. A low commission can be clearly documented while execution quality remains untested. A rating should not quietly substitute one dimension for another.
FINEX separates provisional editorial opinions from a completed quality assessment. A publisher-requested proposal is labelled as such. Missing material evidence remains unresolved rather than being turned into an invented measurement. Partial weighted results also need coverage beside the number; a score from two pillars is not directly equivalent to one from four.
Use scores after your exclusions
First exclude an ineligible country, incompatible strategy or unacceptable contract condition. Then compare relevant costs and limitations. A high overall score cannot override a specific restriction that affects you. Useful scoring makes disagreement inspectable: the reader can see the evidence, weights, date and reason, and ask for a correction.
Sources and scope
Sources are provider publications. Conditions may vary by entity, country, account and program. Recheck before signing up.
