CTI 1-Step: balance-based trailing drawdown
Read CTI's current one-step trailing-loss design and no-daily-limit statement, using a hypothetical size without inventing an undocumented locking mechanism.
Use the published one-step model
The 1-Step page states an 8% target and 5% maximum trailing drawdown based on starting balance, with no separate daily drawdown. This is not the 2-Step static model.

Diagram explained
Apply the balance-based trailing model
- 1-Step: 5% trailing
- Balance-based reference
- No daily limit ≠ no rules
Start with an initial allowance
For hypothetical starting virtual USD 50,000, 5% is USD 2,500. That gives the initial allowance; it does not establish every subsequent lock or withdrawal adjustment.
Balance-based is a reference choice
The page labels the tracking basis Balance Based. Save the rule definition and dashboard threshold rather than silently replacing the reference with highest floating equity.
No daily limit does not mean unrestricted risk
The trailing floor and conduct rules remain. Three profitable trading days and other progression checks are separate from the absence of a daily percentage.
