FBS: calculate margin call and stop-out from equity
Use one used-margin input to understand the 40% and 20% thresholds, then inspect margin changes.
The ratio uses equity, not just balance
The conditions page lists margin call at 40% and stop-out at 20%. The documented formula uses equity / margin × 100; floating P/L can separate equity from cash balance.

Diagram explained
Thresholds do not guarantee liquidation price
- Assumed used margin: USD 200
- USD 80 equity → 40%
- USD 40 equity → 20%
A USD 200 used-margin example
With assumed fixed used margin of USD 200, USD 80 equity gives 40%, USD 40 gives 20%, and USD 100 gives 50%. These are threshold calculations, not predicted stop-out prices or guaranteed fills.

Margin is not always fixed
The PDF allows requirements to vary with equity, instruments and timing. A higher used margin lowers the ratio even without a P/L change. Initial leverage therefore does not lock margin capacity throughout a trade.

Before withdrawing or transferring
Check equity, used/free margin and the proposed transfer at the same time, rather than treating balance as assured withdrawable cash. Costs, market movement and liquidation mechanics may change outcomes. FINEX has not run a live stop-out test.
