FundedNext daily reset: why an open loss can breach overnight
A worked simulated-account example across server midnight, including commission and swap.
Closed profit does not carry into the new daily allowance
Stellar 2-Step publishes a daily limit based on 5% of initial balance. Same-day gains can offset losses that day, but yesterday’s gains stop extending the allowance after server midnight. This explains a rule rather than inviting a purchase: current terms restrict Vietnamese nationals and residents.

Diagram explained
Read the server clock; include fees and swap
- Before reset: +2,000 − 6,000 = −$4,000
- After reset: yesterday’s gain stops offsetting
- −$6,000 exceeds the $5,000 allowance
Before-and-after example
On a hypothetical $100,000 simulated account, the allowance is $5,000. Before reset, $2,000 closed profit offsets a $6,000 floating loss, giving −$4,000 net. If the position remains unchanged across reset, yesterday’s closed gain no longer offsets it: −$6,000 exceeds the $5,000 allowance. Fees are omitted from this illustration but must be included in an actual check.

Convert the server clock, not your device clock
The FAQ describes a GMT+3 server during DST and GMT+2 otherwise. Server midnight therefore maps to 04:00 or 05:00 in Vietnam (UTC+7). Read the active server clock rather than fixing one local reset time year-round. The programme’s overall loss limit is separate and does not replace the daily calculation.

A check before carrying a position
Separate today’s realised result, open P/L, commission and swap, then recalculate without carrying today’s profit into tomorrow’s allowance. This identifies a buffer that may disappear; it is not a suggestion to trade up to the limit. Other account models and stages need their own rules.
