FuturesElite Elite: EOD floor and soft lock
Distinguish Elite's end-of-day trailing floor from its optional daily soft lock; build a ledger that records both without treating them as one limit.
Track the closing balance
Elite's maximum-loss floor follows closed end-of-day balance rather than intraday open profit. Record the daily close and current floor in separate columns; a losing day does not move the floor down.

Diagram explained
Track the floor and timed lock separately.
- EOD floor follows closed balance
- Daily reference can use equity
- Soft lock: record trigger time
Check the size-specific lock
The 25K floor locks at the starting balance; the 50K, 100K and 150K floor locks $100 above it. Do not copy a 25K worksheet unchanged to a larger account.
Read the daily reference
If purchased, the daily soft lock uses the higher of balance and equity at the previous daily close. Hypothetical: balance $51,000 and equity $51,200 means the latter is the reference, not the lower figure.
Record the unlock time
The optional soft lock pauses trading for 24 hours from the trigger and does not itself close the account. Record the trigger timestamp; do not assume the next calendar midnight restores access.
