Gate reserve proof: distinguish batch, method and access rights
Read Gate's Merkle and zk-SNARK explanation by batch and asset scope, without turning an implementation audit into a current customer guarantee.
Identify the batch before checking a proof
Gate describes account-balance leaves, a Merkle root and a cryptographic proof for a batch. A result belongs to that data. Save its date and assets instead of presenting the method's name as current reserves.

Check the exact service and evidence scope
- Dated proof batch
- Implementation versus balances
- Controls and access rights
Separate implementation review from balances
The page lists an implementation-audit reference with its own date. Reviewing how a system was built differs from checking a later balance batch. Label these separately in an evidence table.

Proof does not replace account controls
Gate's security material describes authentication and withdrawal checks. A reserve proof does not test whether a device, session or destination is genuine. Keep these operational checks alongside the evidence, rather than replacing them.

Read jurisdiction limits separately
The global agreement lists restricted locations, including Vietnam. This methodological article does not invite registration or circumvention. Public proof can be studied without assuming the service is permitted for the reader.
