Gate and Vietnam: read the restricted-location rule first
Gate's global agreement lists Vietnam as restricted. Check access implications, existing-account questions and why security or reserve claims do not override it.
The country rule comes first
Clause 2.5 of the opened global agreement includes Vietnam in Restricted Locations. This guide is informational and does not invite Vietnamese residents to register or use a workaround. A reachable page does not override the clause.

Check the exact service and evidence scope
- Vietnam in clause 2.5
- Existing-account resolution
- No permission from reserve claims
Keep existing-account questions with official support
If assets or positions already exist, retain the actual account notice and ask official support about permitted resolution. Do not assume a new account, changed IP or alternate document changes the contractual restriction.

Security controls are not service permission
Gate describes authentication, whitelist and withdrawal-risk controls. These concern protection, not removal of country requirements. Evaluate eligibility before spending time configuring a trading workflow that may not be permitted.

Reserve evidence answers another question
Gate's reserve page explains cryptographic verification. A successful proof would still not establish that a restricted visitor may trade. Keep reserve scope, customer rights and jurisdiction permission as separate checks.
