Global Prime gold and silver: equal lots, different exposure
Use the listed 100-ounce gold and 5,000-ounce silver contracts to calculate cash movement.
Read contract size before price distance
The MT4 table gives 100 ounces for one XAUUSD lot and 5,000 ounces for one XAGUSD lot. Equal 0.10-lot volumes therefore do not mean equal ounces or cash exposure.

Diagram explained
Both examples give USD 50 gross loss
- Gold 0.10 lot = 10 oz
- Silver 0.10 lot = 500 oz
- Adverse USD 5/USD 0.10 per oz
A cash-movement example
Gold 0.10 lot represents 10 ounces, so an adverse USD 5/ounce move gives USD 50 gross loss. Silver 0.10 lot represents 500 ounces, where USD 0.10/ounce also gives USD 50. Costs, gaps and conversion are excluded.

Commission is not stop distance
Raw has lot-and-currency commission for FX/metals, while Standard uses spread pricing. Include the correct costs before estimating net loss; an assumed stop distance is not a guaranteed maximum loss.

Overnight and actual specifications
Crossing rollover can add financing. Treat the public contract table as a reference and confirm current terminal, symbol and account Specification before using the ounce count. FINEX has not placed test gold/silver trades.
