GFF Futures: daily pause versus account closure

Understand why a daily loss event can mean different consequences across GFF plans; track the Daily Payouts rolling strike count rather than assuming a reset.

The consequence is part of the limit

A daily-loss amount is incomplete without its consequence. The current comparison distinguishes a soft pause, a rolling strike mechanism and optional limits that close an account. Copy both amount and consequence into your plan record.

Count loss events in the rolling window.

  1. Amount plus consequence
  2. Daily: rolling 30-day strikes
  3. Flex optional limit differs

Keep a dated strike ledger

Daily Payouts treats a third daily-limit hit within a rolling 30-day period as account closure. A new trading session restores access after an earlier pause, not necessarily a clean strike history.

Test the rolling window

Hypothetical hits on 2, 10 and 20 October all lie within 30 days. The fact that trading resumed after the first two does not make the third another harmless pause. Count dates before the next session.

Do not transfer Flex assumptions

The comparison says an optional Flex daily limit can close the account on its first hit. Match the purchased option rather than applying the Daily Payouts strike model. Vietnam remains restricted.
