GFT VPN, VPS and travel policy from October
Read Goat Funded Trader's October hosting prohibition, first-login exception and travel evidence requirements without assuming a dedicated VPS remains permitted.
The effective restriction is explicit
The updated policy prohibits VPNs, VPSs, proxies and remote/hosted environments during trading from 6 October 2026. A dedicated IP is not listed as a general exemption.

Diagram explained
Check the recorded terms before acting
- No hosted routing while trading
- First login only: disconnect first
- Keep travel and ownership proof
First login is a narrow exception
A VPN may be used only to locate/connect to the server for the first login, then disconnected before trading. It is not permission to mask location during a session.
Travel needs its own record
The policy recommends advance support notice for country changes and may request tickets, passport stamps or video proof. Preserve evidence instead of repeatedly changing routes to avoid review.
Own-dashboard copier is distinct
The policy expressly permits GOAT Trade Copier despite its cloud operation. Other hosted copiers remain prohibited; product-specific permission cannot be extended to every cloud service.
