HYCM fixed spreads: the 20:00–06:00 GMT exception
Fixed does not promise an unchanged spread all day; preserve the time window and symbol exceptions.
The exception is in the footnote
The account footnote widens spreads during the 20:00–06:00 GMT Midnight session, with some product-specific hours. It explicitly includes Fixed. Fixed is not an immutable maximum spread.

Diagram explained
Illustrative USD 5 difference, not measured spread
- Source states 20:00–06:00 GMT
- Fixed can also have wider spreads
- Assume 1 lot, USD 10/pip: 1.5 → 2 pip
A widening-cost example
Assume USD 10/pip per FX lot: 1.5 pips represents USD 15, versus USD 20 at 2.0 pips. The USD 5 difference illustrates sensitivity, not measured HYCM widening.

Preserve the GMT label
The window crosses dates and is not merely one midnight instant. For scheduling, retain the source timezone and verify server/platform time rather than substituting local time or another broker’s ET.

Separate EA permission from spread timing
Fixed still disallows EAs; Classic/Raw permission does not exempt widening. Read account permission, session and entity together. This article reports no strategy test results.
