IC Funded MT5/cTrader: instrument limits and total allocation
IC Funded offers MT5 and cTrader without an additional platform charge, but access to software is not approval of every strategy. Professional leverage varies by instrument, and multiple accounts share a $500,000 funded allocation cap per trader.
Platform choice is an operational choice
The FAQ names desktop, web and mobile access for MT5/cTrader. Check the issued server and account credentials, instrument symbols and order workflow before trading. A platform’s ability to run a tool does not override IC Funded’s prohibited-practice terms.

Diagram explained
Platform capability is separate from permission
- FX 1:50 / indices & commodities 1:20
- Crypto 1:2
- Funded allocation cap: $500,000 total
Leverage does not equal risk allowance
Professional lists FX 1:50, indices/commodities 1:20 and crypto 1:2. For independent illustrative $10,000 notionals, simple initial margin would be $200, $500 and $5,000 respectively, before product-specific calculation. This margin comparison does not relax the daily or overall loss tests.

Multiple accounts have an aggregate ceiling
The FAQ allows multiple challenges and funded accounts up to $500,000 total allocation per trader. An independent two-account example of $200,000 plus $200,000 totals $400,000; adding another $200,000 would exceed that ceiling. Do not confuse virtual allocation with cash ownership.

Independent trading still matters
The terms prohibit coordinated cross-account exploitation, copying between users and various execution abuses. Having several logins or tools is not a permission to neutralise risk across firms. Verify personal and regional eligibility before designing any multi-account setup.
