IG UK: GSL reserve and trigger charges
Separate the premium reserved alongside margin from its trigger-dependent charge.
Reserve first, charge on trigger
Help says the premium is shown before opening, reserved separately alongside margin and charged only if GSL triggers. A reserve can reduce availability without being a final fee.

Diagram explained
A reserve differs from a final charge
- Assume GBP 4/point × 0.6 points
- Triggered premium: GBP 2.40
- 20-point loss + premium = GBP 82.40
Complete the multiplication
Assume GBP 4/point and a 0.6-point premium: the triggered charge is GBP 2.40. A 20-point stop gives GBP 80 gross loss, or GBP 82.40 before spread, financing and conversion.

Amendments have limits
When the market is closed, the source permits moving the stop only farther away; minimum distance can increase with volatility. GSL availability does not promise unrestricted tightening.

Match the ticket and company
Inspect the actual CFD/spread-bet ticket and retain the premium statement. Integration support can vary; UK terms do not establish Vietnamese availability. The illustration is not a live fill result.
