Tradeify FX Daily drawdown: closed-balance trail, equity breach
Daily’s 5% trailing floor moves immediately when a closed trade creates a new balance high, not only at EOD. Open profit does not move it, but open losses can breach it. Vietnam residents are excluded; this is a scoped rule example.
Start from a fixed original-size distance
For an independent hypothetical $50,000 Daily account,5% is $2,500 and initial floor $47,500. If a closed trade lifts balance to $51,000, the floor becomes $48,500 immediately. An unclosed equity peak alone does not cause that upward adjustment.

Diagram explained
Closed-balance trailing is not EOD-only
- 50K start −$2,500 = $47,500
- Closed balance $51,000 → floor $48,500
- Open loss can breach before closing
A later loss does not lower the floor
If the hypothetical balance later closes at $50,500, the $48,500 floor remains rather than dropping to $48,000. This is why original balance minus 5% is an incomplete ongoing risk calculation. Use the highest closed reference and actual dashboard threshold.

The trail caps at initial balance
Daily’s floor stops at the starting balance rather than initial-plus $100. The guide expressly says no payout lock on Daily. Do not import the separate Live Program’s first-withdrawal lock or a futures model just because the account size is similar.

Enforcement uses equity throughout
The guide says touching the current floor with live equity breaches immediately, including an open losing position. “No daily loss limit” does not suspend this hard floor or prohibited conduct. Permanent residency eligibility remains an independent condition.
