Tradeify FX funded news: profits deducted, losses retained
Funded and Live accounts restrict opening, closing and changing affected orders within five minutes either side of high-impact news. Profit may be deducted while loss remains; repeated violations can end accounts across linked brands. Vietnam residents are excluded.
The window changes after evaluation
The FAQ says evaluation is not subject to this news window, but funded and Live are. An automated strategy should therefore be reviewed again at the transition. The economic calendar inside the trader dashboard supplies the relevant events and timing.

Diagram explained
An early pending order is not an exemption
- Funded/Live window:±5 minutes
- Restricted profit removed; loss stays
- Repeated breaches can cause cross-brand bans
An old pending order can create a new violation
A pending order triggered inside the window is treated as a news trade even if placed earlier. Existing positions may be held, but closing or modifying SL/TP during the window is restricted. Margin stop-out has a specific exemption; do not extend it to ordinary stop-loss execution.

Apply the asymmetric result accounting
In an independent example, a restricted trade earns $100 and another loses $80. Removing the $100 while retaining the $80 loss leaves a different result from netting both to $20. This illustrates why gross profit during news does not prove eligible reward profit.

Consequences can exceed a deduction
The provider lists warnings, restrictions and serious breach or termination; repeated violations can ban access to Tradeify FX and Tradeify 247. Instruments are event-linked: USD releases can affect gold, indices, oil and crypto beyond FX pairs. Permanent residency exclusion still applies independently.
