Upbit Korea transfers: recipient rules matter below the threshold
Check Upbit Korea's recipient category, ownership match and permitted destination before treating a smaller transfer as exempt from all checks.
Choose exchange or personal-wallet routing
Upbit Korea distinguishes integrated exchanges, ownership-verification routes and registered personal wallets. Select the actual category first. A technically valid blockchain address alone does not establish that the transfer route is permitted.

A smaller transfer still needs an allowed destination
The below-threshold help retains restrictions for unidentified destinations and prohibited unregistered exchanges. Do not split transfers to avoid review. Follow destination registration where required rather than treating size as permission.

Match ownership for the route selected
The VASP guidance separates routes permitting different owners from those requiring the same owner, and distinguishes individual/corporate handling. Use the current list for the actual account type. An old partner list is not proof of present support.

Keep a route evidence checklist
Record account region, recipient category, ownership requirement, asset/network and destination-list date before a permitted transfer. This checklist does not guarantee arrival. Korean procedures must not be copied into a Singapore account guide.
