VT Markets review: Standard STP or RAW ECN?

VT Markets offers Standard STP and RAW ECN accounts, MT4/MT5 and its own app. The pricing structures are easy to compare. Before registering, check spreads, commissions, swaps and withdrawal terms for the account available in Asia.

FINEX editorial score
  • Standard STP: no separate Forex commission.
  • RAW ECN: raw spread plus commission.
  • MT4, MT5 and the VT Markets app.

Strength: choose the pricing structure you need

Standard STP is an accessible starting point for comparing costs because it has no separate Forex commission. RAW ECN separates the spread from commission, making the components visible when you plan a trade. The ECN name does not guarantee execution at your requested price.

MT4 and MT5 let existing MetaTrader users keep a familiar analysis environment. The VT Markets app adds a mobile option. Use a demo on your intended platform and device before moving to a live account.

Standard STP versus RAW ECN at a glance

The Asia account page lists Standard spreads from 1.2 pips, RAW from 0.0 pips and a $6 round-turn RAW commission for the displayed account example. Both start at a $100 deposit. These are advertised specifications, not average spreads measured by FINEX.

Compare the same pair, trade size and holding period: total cost includes spread, commission and any swap. A minimum deposit is not a recommended budget. For swap-free variants, check the administration-fee terms too.

Withdrawal trade-offs to understand

The help centre estimates 3–7 working days for cards and international wires, and 1–3 for e-wallets and local transfers after approval and the funds leaving the trading account. Payment providers can affect the actual arrival time.

The first monthly wire withdrawal has no handling fee; later wires may cost the equivalent of $20 each. The help page also lists payment-provider charges for Skrill and Neteller. Check the final portal quote rather than assuming every withdrawal is free.

Who is it for, and what should you check?

Shortlist VT Markets if you want MetaTrader and two clearly distinct pricing models. Check account availability, residence restrictions and the company signing your agreement. The documents used here concern VT Markets Limited in Mauritius; protections from other group companies should not be combined.

Before registering, note the account, platform, legal entity and payment route you intend to use. Try Standard on demo if pricing simplicity matters most. If you trade frequently, compare RAW using your own strategy’s full costs.
