BG Futures Standard: payout buffer and floor
Calculate Standard's potential withdrawal headroom separately from its buffer, cap and drawdown floor; keep the published consistency boundary conflict visible.
Separate the buffer from the cap
Standard keeps a funded buffer that limits withdrawable profit. The cap is another ceiling. Use the smaller available amount only after confirming all eligibility conditions; neither figure guarantees an approved payout.

Diagram explained
Confirm the disputed consistency boundary.
- Buffer is not the payout cap
- Calculate gross room first
- Exactly 40% needs clarification
Work a hypothetical balance
For a Standard 50K example, the published buffer balance is $52,100. Hypothetical balance $53,300 leaves $1,200 above it before other checks. That is gross headroom, not the trader's net payment.
Do not settle the 40% contradiction
The page says a best day equal to or above 40% blocks payout, but its example treats $2,000 out of $5,000 as sufficient. Exactly 40% is therefore unclear. Seek written clarification; do not label equality safe.
Recompute the floor after payout
Standard's page says a withdrawal locks the floor at starting balance plus $100. Compare the post-withdrawal balance against that floor before deciding trade size. Vietnam remains restricted; this is not a signup recommendation.
