Blue Guardian: news window and Guardian Shield
Funded Guardian Shield can permanently reduce the split to 50% on its first trigger; a second breaches the account. News and holding-time rules also matter. Vietnam remains restricted.
Permission changes after the challenge
2 Step Standard allows news trading during evaluation but restricts opening or closing around high-impact events on funded accounts. The named page uses five minutes before and after. A strategy that passes evaluation may therefore require a different execution plan later.

Diagram explained
Check the first intervention, not only maximum loss
- Evaluation news permission differs from funded
- Hypothetical $50K × 2% = $1K
- First trigger: 50% split; second: account breach
Shield is not the total loss allowance
On the named two-step funded scope, Guardian Shield is intended to close all trades in most cases when open P&L reaches a 2% loss. For a hypothetical $50,000 balance, 2% is $1,000. The first trigger permanently reduces the split to 50%; the second permanently breaches the account. It does not reset and the original split cannot be reinstated. The separate 8% overall maximum does not override it.

Other strategy constraints remain
The Standard page includes a two-minute minimum holding time and limits copy trading to accounts legally owned by the trader. Payout eligibility also requires no active violations. Review holding duration and ownership alongside news timing instead of treating allowed EAs as blanket permission.

Simulated access still has a country gate
The general rules say all accounts, including funded, are demo accounts and exclude Vietnam. This guide explains compatibility for informational comparison; it does not invite restricted users to register or claim that automated closure prevents every loss.
