Capital.com GSL: calculate the triggered-stop premium
Separate the premium from spread and stop-distance P/L using explicit assumptions.
The charge is trigger-based
The Bahamas page describes closure at the specified level with a premium if triggered. Its formula is premium rate × opening price × quantity. Use the actual ticket’s rate, not another market’s value.

Diagram explained
Illustrative charge when the GSL triggers
- Assume premium 0.03%
- Opening price USD 2,000 × quantity 2
- 0.0003 × 2,000 × 2 = USD 1.20
A two-unit example
Assume 0.03% premium, USD 2,000 opening price and quantity two: triggered premium is 0.0003 × 2,000 × 2 = USD 1.20. A USD 10 stop distance gives USD 20 gross loss, or USD 21.20 before other costs.

Availability needs platform confirmation
MT5’s presence does not establish GSL availability in every integration. Inspect the actual instrument/account ticket. Without the feature, do not treat a standard stop as guaranteed.

Fee and account currency
A GSL fee denominated differently from the account may add conversion under the fee schedule. Retain reports and Bahamas terms; Help’s small-withdrawal limits are separate from stop cost.
