Capital.com: conversion costs on P/L and adjustments
Distinguish an exchange-rate markup from commission on the entire position value.
The fee is embedded in conversion
The Bahamas page gives a 0.7% retail spot-rate markup for realised P/L, financing, GSL, dividends and manual cross-currency transfers. It does not mean every trade pays 0.7% of full notional.

Diagram explained
Do not apply 0.7% to full notional
- Assume EUR 20 × 1.10 = USD 22
- Assume retail markup of 0.7%
- 22 × 0.007 = USD 0.154 before rounding
An EUR-profit example
Assume EUR 20 profit, spot USD 1.10/EUR and an adverse 0.7% markup: the pre-fee value is USD 22 and the approximate difference USD 0.154 before rounding. This is an assumed rate, not a quote.

Losses also need conversion
For negative P/L, conversion can enlarge the account-currency debit. Save each adjustment’s rate from Reports rather than using the deposit-time exchange rate to explain every later item.

Withdrawal is a different constraint
The converted amount must meet the selected method/currency minimum, not the original P/L numeral. The Bahamas terms and linked help define this guide’s scope, not other group entities.
