eToro: CopyTrader minimum-position skips
A USD 200 allocation can still skip sub-USD 1 positions; a proportional example explains why.
Two different thresholds
CopyTrader publishes USD 200 to copy one investor and USD 1 for each copied position. Meeting the overall allocation does not automatically meet each-position minimum.

Diagram explained
Total minimum does not assure every order
- Minimum copying allocation: USD 200
- 200 × 0.4% = USD 0.80
- Below USD 1: position not opened
Small-weight example
Assume USD 200 allocated at a 0.4% weight: the resulting USD 0.80 is below USD 1, so that position is not opened under the stated rule. A 1% weight gives USD 2, still subject to product conditions.

No extra copying fee is not costless
The copying feature has no extra charge, while asset spreads and transaction costs remain. CFDs can carry entry/exit and overnight fees, so another investor’s return does not determine the follower’s result.

Inspect tracking differences
Record minimum-skipped orders and product labels to explain portfolio differences. Entity terms govern feature eligibility; increasing allocation is not presented as a way to replicate profits reliably.
