A rebate can lower a fee, not remove trading risk

A Forex rebate returns or credits part of a specifically defined trading charge after qualifying activity. The program decides which charge, account, instrument and volume count. A rebate is therefore a cost adjustment with conditions, not a guaranteed bonus and not protection against a losing trade.

FINEX currently advertises trading-fee rebates of up to 100%. “Up to” is a ceiling, not a personal quote. Before registration, ask FINEX to confirm in writing the rate for your country, the contracting entity, account type, eligible charges, platform and payment schedule. The public headline alone does not establish that a specific applicant or trade will receive a rebate.

Check the calculation base before comparing rates

Programs may quote a fixed amount per eligible lot, a percentage of commission actually charged, or a rate against eligible notional turnover. These are different denominators. A larger percentage is not automatically a larger payment, and “per lot” is incomplete until the program defines the instrument, lot size and whether it counts one side or a completed round turn.

For illustration only, assume a program pays USD 2 per qualifying round-turn lot. A trade record that the program counts as 4.5 eligible lots would produce USD 9. The example is hypothetical; the program may count volume differently, exclude products or use another rate. A separate guide explains the calculations from MT4 and MT5 history.

A group licence does not automatically cover your account.

  1. Identify the legal name in your own client agreement, not only the logo or group name on the homepage.
  2. Match that name and licence number to the official register, then check product permissions, jurisdiction and any relevant investor protections.
  3. For a prop firm, company incorporation is not the same as a broker licence. A country not listed as prohibited is not, by itself, proof of acceptance.

Compare the total cost that remains

Compare accounts using the same instrument, volume, holding period and account currency. Include spread, opening and closing commission, overnight financing, conversion and relevant payment charges. Then subtract only the rebate that the written terms say you qualify for. Do not treat an estimated rebate as cash already received.

A rebate does not make extra trading sensible. More volume can increase spread, commission, financing and market exposure by more than the rebate returns. Choose trade size for your risk plan, not to reach a reward tier.

Read the account and eligibility rules

Confirm the legal entity and country first. Then ask which account types, symbols, platforms and trade directions qualify; whether the rule uses closed volume, charged commission or notional turnover; when the qualifying period resets; and whether the payment is cash, credit or an account adjustment. Also ask what happens to an existing account or referral assignment.

An official example shows why these details matter: IC Markets Global’s Raw Trader Plus terms, version 1.1 dated June 2024, require the provider to confirm membership and define tiers using closed monthly lots for specified accounts and platforms. The document names Raw Trading Ltd and IC Markets Global. It is an example of one program’s scope, not evidence that the same terms apply to every IC Markets entity or that a Vietnam-based applicant is eligible. A practical decision before registering

Save the written rate and terms beside your cost comparison. If a key point is unclear, ask FINEX before following a partner link. Register only after the applicable entity, account, eligible fees and payment method are clear. You can compare the provider reviews linked below; FINEX may earn a commission through partner links, while the rebate rate remains subject to confirmation.
