FXT country eligibility: residence, citizenship and service limits
FXT applies country and service-specific restrictions; a country absent from the exclusion list is not automatically approved for every account or programme.
Residence restrictions come first
The current guide excludes US residence including territories, Ontario, North Korea, Iran, New Zealand, Russia and Ukraine. Ontario is a provincial restriction, not a statement that every Canadian province is excluded.

Diagram explained
Not listed is not the same as approved
- Residence can restrict registration
- AF / PK also use citizenship / phone
- Australia trading ≠ all services
Two additional country rules
From 14 July 2026, Afghanistan and Pakistan restrictions also cover citizenship or a registration phone number associated with either country. This is broader than the ordinary residence-based list and should not be reduced to address alone.

Trading access is not every service
Australian citizens or residents may apply for trading accounts subject to review but cannot use Social Trading, Funds Management or Partner services. The introduction also says each service has separate risk, access and fee rules.

Vietnam remains a verification question
Vietnam does not appear in the opened exclusion list. That supports only “not listed”: genuine residence, KYC, product availability and accepted entity documents still determine whether an application can be approved.
