IBKR: two-free-withdrawal monthly counter
Count requests by calendar month and method rather than applying an old one-free-request rule.
The current schedule
Other Fees read on 27 October 2026 states two free requests each calendar month, with fees after the second. The page bases request time on EST/New York, not the reader’s local timezone. This is the UK-route direct-client schedule; advisor/IB charges can be added.

Diagram explained
Intermediary charges can remain
- First two / calendar month: no broker fee
- Third USD wire request: USD 10
- Source timezone controls the counter
Third-request example
If three USD wires fall in the same counted month, the first two have no broker withdrawal fee and the third costs USD 10. Total broker cost is USD 10, not USD 30; outside-bank fees remain separate.

Not automatic conversion
The withdrawal counter does not define an exchange rate. Any prior conversion has its own manual/auto pricing. Matching bank currency does not establish every method for the assigned affiliate.

Withdrawable cash differs from assets
Check settled/available cash and cash/margin restrictions before requesting. Do not mechanically batch if it increases FX risk or conflicts with cash needs; this illustrates a schedule, not a live withdrawal test.
