Plus500: conversion on net P/L, not full notional
Illustrate the up-to-0.7% charge on relevant net P/L while separating financing.
The charging base
The FAQ applies up to 0.7% to realised net P/L for differently denominated instruments, reflected in unrealised P/L. This is not 0.7% of full notional exposure.

Diagram explained
Do not apply 0.7% to full notional
- Assume USD 20 loss + USD 0.20 funding
- 20.20 × 0.7% = USD 0.1414
- Total before FX/rounding: USD 20.3414
A loss-plus-funding example
Assume USD 20 gross loss plus USD 0.20 financing requiring conversion. At an assumed 0.7%, the charge is 20.20 × 0.007 = USD 0.1414; illustrative total USD 20.3414 before rounding and actual FX conversion.

The rate can change
The FAQ allows the percentage to change. Record the current Details rate and account currency rather than treating the advertised maximum as universal. Both exchange-rate movement and charges can affect the debit.

Keep cost columns separate
Spread, financing and conversion have different inputs. Including funding in the example’s net P/L and adding it again double-counts it. Reconcile individual history entries under the actual CFD account schedule.
