Questrade review: Canadian investing, currencies and account scope
Questrade is a Canadian investing service with separate FX/CFD arrangements; its stock pricing and promotion eligibility cannot be applied to every account.
Identify the service
The relationship disclosure distinguishes self-directed execution from managed investing. Select the actual service and legal account before comparing stock, options or leveraged-product charges; the brand alone does not identify those costs.

Diagram explained
Compare the actual account, not only the brand
- Choose self-directed or managed
- Identify securities or FX / CFD
- Verify residence and agreement
Listed securities pricing
Current pricing advertises $0 online commissions for Canadian and US-listed stocks and ETFs. Specific US routing and overnight orders can still incur transaction fees, so commission-free is not cost-free.

Currency balances affect borrowing
A margin account does not automatically exchange CAD to cover a USD security purchase. The margin schedule says insufficient USD can create a USD loan and interest even when CAD is held.

Country evidence is limited
These Canadian product documents do not verify Vietnam-resident acceptance. The October bonus requires conditions tied to Canadian residence and excludes FX accounts, so it is not evidence of universal offshore forex access.
