TPT Test to PRO: unrealized gains move the floor

Test uses EOD updating while PRO trails intraday equity. The same nominal account size therefore does not preserve the same risk mechanism.

Separate the stages before comparing losses

The Test rule updates trailing drawdown from end-of-day balance. PRO instead includes intraday realized and unrealized highs. In both, touching the current minimum balance can fail the account during the session; EOD updating is not permission to cross the floor temporarily.

Reassess the strategy when the stage changes

  1. Same starting label: $25K
  2. Intraday high and EOD close can differ
  3. PRO and Test can leave different risk room

A hypothetical equal finish, different headroom

For a $25,000 account with $1,500 distance, imagine an intraday high of $26,000 but closing balance $25,500. PRO’s intraday floor can be $24,500, leaving $1,000; Test’s new EOD floor would be $24,000, leaving $1,500. These are mechanism examples, not actual trades.

PRO is still simulated

TPT’s simulation guide distinguishes PRO from the later PRO+ live stage. A reward from simulated performance does not make the displayed balance a customer deposit or guarantee later live progression. Use the stage name beside every drawdown calculation.

Check conduct and location too

PRO rules prohibit automated trading and require no open positions or orders around specified prohibited news. TPT’s country policy includes Vietnam and restricts even market-data access from prohibited locations. No signup or circumvention route is offered here.
