tastyfx volume rebates: notional is not deposited capital
Volume-based rebates count opening and closing notional in a calendar month; the threshold is trading exposure, not a required million-dollar deposit.
Measure the right quantity
The rebate programme uses cumulative USD notional traded in a calendar month. It counts both opening and closing orders; account funding and leveraged market exposure are different measurements.

Diagram explained
A rebate does not remove the cost of added exposure
- Count opens and closes
- Threshold uses monthly notional
- Rebate covers part of trading costs
Understand the example
The provider’s USD/CAD example opens five standard lots for $500,000 notional and closes them for another $500,000. That totals $1 million counted volume, rather than a $1 million cash balance.

A rebate returns part of costs
Spread-based accounts receive rebates linked to spread costs; commission-based accounts use commission paid. The advertised maximum is a tier ceiling, not a guaranteed percentage for every customer or trade.
Do not trade to manufacture a reward
Additional volume can incur more spread, commission and market loss than the rebate returns. Check promotion-combination restrictions separately: eligibility for a volume rebate does not establish eligibility for BOOST.
