Tickmill Raw: the spread difference that offsets commission
An illustrative EURUSD example explains USD3 and USD3.50 per-side charges.
Compare equal units
The table lists MetaTrader Raw at USD3 per lot per side and TradingView Raw at USD3.50. Opening plus closing is USD6 and USD7 per lot respectively; Classic carries its trading charge in the spread.

Diagram explained
Commission threshold, not an all-in quote
- MT Raw: 6 ÷ 10 = 0.6 pip
- TradingView: 7 ÷ 10 = 0.7 pip
- Compare simultaneous spread difference
Convert commission to pips in an example
Assume a standard EURUSD lot has a USD10 pip value in a USD account. Then 6 ÷ 10 = 0.6 pip and 7 ÷ 10 = 0.7 pip. These are commission equivalents, not observed spreads or all-in quotes.

How to use the threshold
If Classic’s spread exceeds Raw’s by more than the equivalent commission on the same trade, Raw has a lower spread-plus-commission total under those assumptions. A 0.5-pip difference does not offset 0.6 pip. Assess swaps and slippage separately.
