Trade Nation: session-fixed and equity spreads
A fixed 0.5 add-on over a changing underlying spread explains the equity exception.
Fixed within a window
Costs permits fixed-spread changes between sessions, while keeping the spread stable within that session. Retain instrument and time rather than applying the fixed headline to an entire week.

Diagram explained
A fixed add-on does not fix the underlying
- Assume fixed add-on: 0.5 points
- Underlying 0.2 → total 0.7 points
- Underlying 0.8 → total 1.3 points
Equities have a variable underlying
Equities specifically use a fixed add-on over variable underlying bid-offer. Assume a 0.5-point add-on and underlying widening from 0.2 to 0.8: total moves from 0.7 to 1.3 points. The 0.6 change does not contradict a fixed add-on.

Do not mix MT4 tables
MT4 lists from-spreads with its own margin/hours. A zero starting value is not a constant quote, nor an input to the TN Trader example as if the execution feeds were identical.

Preserve the position structure
The source requires fixed-opened positions to close on fixed, and variable-opened positions on variable. Check market/account/session before entry; the stop buffer or free withdrawal does not replace spread costs.
