Trading.com US: daily margin reset
Hold equity constant to isolate FX effects on required margin and the 120% alert level.
Margin is not fixed to the deposit
Margin resets at least daily with exchange rates and can change. 1:50 is a maximum on some pairs, not every symbol; USD 50 funding does not establish an affordable size.

Diagram explained
Margin changes even with equity held constant
- EUR 50,000 × 2% = EUR 1,000 margin
- EUR/USD 1.10 → USD 1,100; 1.14 → USD 1,140
- USD 1,350 equity: 122.73% → 118.42%
An isolated-FX example
Assume EUR 50,000 notional at 2%: EUR 1,000 margin. EUR/USD 1.10 gives USD 1,100; 1.14 gives USD 1,140. With assumed constant USD 1,350 equity, margin level falls from 122.73% to 118.42%.

An alert is not a right to wait
The illustration crosses the stated 120% alert level, not 100%. The agreement does not obligate every alert; actual equity also moves with P/L, spreads and rollover rather than remaining fixed as assumed.

Liquidation scope
The page describes closing the largest losing positions when below requirements. Inspect the whole account and open orders rather than one trade’s margin. This US-company mechanism does not establish Vietnamese access.
