Trading.com US: MT5 netting and EAs
An EA needs net-position, account/server and permission checks rather than presumed independent hedges.
Netting is explicit
The US MT5 page describes order flow built for netting and server mt5-us.trading.com. Obtain the trading login from the actual My Accounts entry; another region’s account email does not establish the correct trading credentials.

Diagram explained
Check EA logic against net positions
- US MT5: source describes netting
- Long 0.30 − reducing sell 0.10 = long 0.20 lot
- Do not assume independent hedge tickets
Same-symbol illustration
In a simplified netting model, long 0.30 lot followed by a reducing 0.10-lot sell leaves net long 0.20 lot rather than independent hedged tickets. Verify account/FIFO rules and logs before using ticket-based EA logic.

Costs and margin after the change
T1 spread/rollover remain despite platform backtesting, and exposure/FX-dependent margin requires monitoring. Multi-pair backtesting does not establish live execution quality or profitability.

A bounded verification workflow
In demo, inspect opening, reducing, closing and pending orders alongside net reports. Then confirm US-company permissions and residence terms; no FINEX EA test or recommendation that Vietnamese residents use this route is made.
