Tradu stock orders: quote, execution and cancellation
A submitted stock order is not an executed trade: market prices, session handling and cancellation requests need separate checks.
A quote is not a fill
The stock terms warn that market execution can differ from the displayed quote. A hypothetical ten-share purchase at $101 instead of a $100 quote uses $10 more before fees.

Diagram explained
Track the order state, not only the quoted price
- Quote → instruction
- Acknowledged ≠ executed
- Verify before replacing
Limit orders can remain unfilled
A limit instruction is not a promise of execution merely because a displayed market reaches a level. Available liquidity and the execution broker’s handling still matter.

IPO handling differs
The stock FAQ permits limit orders before an IPO’s first trade, then market orders after trading begins. Do not assume an IPO indication is already an executable market price.

Cancellation is a request
The contract distinguishes acknowledgement from execution and limits cancellation once an order has been acted on. Verify order status before submitting a replacement that could duplicate exposure.
