XTB turnover threshold and commission minimum scope
Read XTB UK's monthly turnover threshold without extending zero commission to every cost, and recognize the currency mismatch between two official fee descriptions.
Turnover is not account balance
The stock/ETF commission threshold refers to monthly turnover equivalent to EUR 100,000. A small account trading repeatedly can generate turnover quite different from its cash balance.

Diagram explained
Check the recorded terms before acting
- Turnover differs from balance
- EUR 10 / GBP 10 source mismatch
- Confirm the assigned tariff
Read the percentage and minimum together
The pages publish 0.2% above the threshold, but the help article prints a EUR 10 minimum while the UK account/plan presentation uses GBP 10. Do not silently equate those currencies.
Calculate only a labelled illustration
For an entirely hypothetical GBP 1,000 chargeable transaction with a GBP 10 minimum, 0.2% gives GBP 2, so the assumed minimum dominates. This does not settle threshold-crossing allocation.
Resolve the applicable schedule
Use the assigned account's tariff and confirmation for the actual minimum currency and threshold treatment. Conversion and financing remain separate questions even when commission is zero.
