Ability daily drawdown: rollover equity can raise the next floor

Ability uses the higher rollover balance/equity as the daily reference. A floating gain can therefore tighten next-day room before it is realised. The source mixes fixed GMT+2 wording with seasonal GMT+2/+3 schedules; verify the active server time.

A Phase 1 independent calculation

Assume $40,000 initial size, rollover balance $40,000 and equity $42,000. Higher reference $42,000 times 7.5% gives $3,150 daily allowance; the resulting floor is $38,850. Deducting 7.5% of original size instead would give a different floor.

Check the active server offset before rollover

  1. Hypothetical higher rollover equity: $42,000
  2. Phase 1 allowance 7.5%: $3,150
  3. Daily floor: $38,850

Static within a day is not static across days

The reference is set at rollover and stays for that day; intraday balance gains do not keep lifting that day’s floor under the worked examples. The next rollover can recalculate it. Keep the timestamp with the reference instead of treating “static daily” as an initial-balance-only method.

Resolve timezone wording before holding overnight

The knowledge centre first says midnightGMT+2, then gives seasonal MT5 midnightGMT+3/GMT+2 references. Mathematical Vietnam conversions are 04:00 and 05:00 respectively, not one fixed year-round time. Confirm the actual platform/server offset for the trading date.

Overall equity limits continue

Phase 1 overall floor remains 85% of initial size; Verification/Live use 90%. In the independent 40K Phase 1 example the overall floor is $34,000, lower than the calculated daily floor. This is rule illustration, not a position-size recommendation or personal eligibility clearance.
