Ability phase comparison: a wider first-stage limit is not permanent
Ability’s Phase 1 and Verification use different loss percentages. On an equal nominal account, Verification leaves a smaller dollar allowance even though its target is lower. Country eligibility and actual funded-stage terms remain separate from this arithmetic.
Use the same nominal size
For an independent $20,000 account, Phase 1’s 10% target is $2,000 and 15% overall allowance $3,000. Verification’s 5% target is $1,000 and 10% overall allowance $2,000. This compares rules, not the probability of passing or expected returns.

Diagram explained
Lower targets arrive with tighter loss room
- 20K Phase 1 overall floor: $17,000
- 20K Verification floor: $18,000
- Both phases: minimum 4 trading days
Overall floors are based on initial balance
The knowledge centre says initial-size floors are 85% for Phase 1 and 90% for Verification/Live, including open and closed positions, commissions and swaps. In the independent 20K example those floors are $17,000 and $18,000. A closed balance alone can hide equity exposure.

Daily percentages narrow as well
At an unchanged $20,000 rollover reference,7.5% is $1,500 while 5% is $1,000. The actual daily amount depends on the applicable rollover reference, so these equal-reference figures are not universal fixed amounts for every day. Record stage and daily baseline together.

Minimum days still constrain the route
Both evaluation phases require at least four trading days. Lower target does not remove review, KYC or contract conditions before the next stage. Check residence and platform access separately; Vietnam’s absence from the reviewed list is not an unconditional approval.
