FTMO prop firm rules: fees, drawdown and payout terms

A program-specific FTMO guide to evaluation rules, loss limits, fees, reward conditions and the contracting party. Confirm the exact plan before buying.

The decision in brief

FTMO 2-Step uses two evaluation phases and simulated capital. Choose the account type before paying, and budget without assuming a refund or reward.

Read the conditions and update

2-Step targets are 10% then 5%; Standard and Swing differ in leverage, news and market-close holding rules. Swing is selected with 2-Step and cannot be substituted later for a purchased Standard account.

The refund FAQ ties the 2-Step purchase-fee return to the first reward withdrawal request. Passing an evaluation, eligibility to request and actual receipt are separate milestones.

Platforms or environment terms reviewed: MT4, MT5, cTrader and TradingView listed in official CFD FAQ.
