Maven platforms: switching, same-plan merges and manual copying
Maven names MT5 and Match Trader, but platform switching requires an untraded account and ends before Phase 2 or funded. Same-plan merge and own-account manual-copy rules have their own limits; software capability is not permission.
Choose the platform before a test trade
The FAQ allows a switch only before any trading and not at Phase 2, Phase 3 or funded. A single exploratory order can therefore close the ordinary switch route. Check symbol availability, order entry and platform access before using a paid account for experimentation.

Diagram explained
A platform feature is not trading permission
- Switch: untraded account only
- Merge: same plan, up to $200,000
- Copy: own accounts, manual only
Merging is not cross-plan pooling
Funded accounts can merge only within the same plan, up to the stated $200,000 maximum. An independent $50,000 Standard plus $50,000 OMO example is not an eligible same-plan merge simply because the sum is below the ceiling. Obtain approval before changing account structure.

Manual own-account copying has narrow scope
The current FAQ permits manual copying among accounts you own and prohibits EA-based copying. The terms also prohibit copying other individuals and include conflicting broad EA language. Treat automation as requiring clarification, not as a loophole created by the platform’s copier menu.

Platform geography is an additional check
The FAQ restricts MT5 for the United States and Canada. A country not listed in Maven’s general exclusions may still face a platform-specific constraint. Confirm identity, residence, platform and signed programme together; neither a successful download nor a demo login establishes contract eligibility.
