Trading 212: Invest and CFD cost boundaries
One app can still have different multi-currency access, FX fees and statement denominators.
Do not merge entities
The pages name UK, German, Cypriot and Australian entities. Apply product Help with the issued agreement rather than assigning group licences to every account. English pages do not establish Vietnamese acceptance.

Diagram explained
Match product and denominator
- Invest/Pies: 0.15% FX mechanism
- CFD: 0.5% on FX-denominated closed result
- CFD statement uses exposure, not deposits
Different currencies and fees
Help limits multi-currency to Invest/SIPP, not automatically CFD. Invest/Pies conversion uses 0.15%, while CFD charges 0.5% on differently denominated closed-position results. The bases are not interchangeable.

Asset-specific funding
FX CFDs use quantity × daily rate; non-FX also uses price. Long/short rates differ and update daily; opposite positions do not automatically cancel overnight costs.

Read the correct denominator
Annual statements use average cash/assets for Invest but total trading exposure for CFDs. A small CFD cost percentage does not establish small cash-capital drag; the focused guide illustrates both denominators.
